LEAD-Online | Learn, Engage, Act: Digital Tools to Prevent and Counter Hate Speech Online

Sulla base del successo del progetto Coalition of Positive Messengers to Counter Online Hate Speech (2016-2018), una nuova azione contro l’hate speech online insieme ad una squadra di partner esperti e motivati provenienti da sette Paesi (Austria, Croazia, Cipro, Grecia, Italia, Romania) guidati da SDA – Sofia Development Association.

Il progetto propone una strategia di educazione, sensibilizzazione e responsabilizzazione, per aiutare giovani, educatori ed educatrici a comprendere meglio la natura dell’odio online. Le attività del progetto aumenteranno la consapevolezza rispetto alla natura dei pregiudizi alla base dell’ostilità verso il diverso online, per promuovere una presenza protagonista e costruttiva negli ambienti digitali. Nel corso di due anni, formeremo insegnanti e studenti sui diritti umani e i discorsi d’odio; progetteremo un gioco online multilingue Hate Out! per decodificare i discorsi d’odio e creare contro-narrazioni; riuniremo le parti interessate (società civile, giornalisti, educatori, social media, enti pubblici) per aumentare la consapevolezza sui discorsi d’odio online.

Attività

Oltre 4000 giovani ed educatori/trici formati sul tema dei diritti umani contro l’HSO.
Oltre 3500 tra student3, leader giovanili, giornalist3 ed educator3 in grado di denunciare i messaggi di odio online grazie all’esperienza di gioco con Hate Out!
Più di 35.000 persone informazioni tramite attività di comunicazione online.

LEAD-Online | Learn, Engage, Act: Digital Tools to Prevent and Counter Hate Speech Online

Building on the success of the project Coalition of Positive Messengers to Counter Online Hate Speech (2016-2018), a new action against online hate speech together with a team of experienced and motivated partners from seven countries (Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Romania) led by SDA – Sofia Development Association.

The project proposes a strategy of education, awareness-raising and empowerment to help young people, educators and educators better understand the nature of online hate speech. The project activities will raise awareness about the nature of prejudices underlying hostility towards the different online, to promote a leading and constructive presence in digital environments. Over two years, we will train teachers and students on human rights and hate speech; we will design a multilingual online game Hate Out! to decode hate speech and create counter-narratives; we will bring together stakeholders (civil society, journalists, educators, social media, public authorities) to raise awareness on online hate speech.

Activities
