TUDORS is an Erasmus+ project lasting 24 months and run by 8 organisations based in Slovenia, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Spain.
The project is aiming at strengthening the skills and competences of foreign language trainers, so as to make their action more effective in teaching languages to adults with learning difficulties. Specifically, TUDORS contributes at enhancing the soft and transversal skills of teachers, so they can promote and support the participation of adult learners with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) in educational activities.
The project main activities are
• the collection of innovative and effective practices, from EU countries, in teaching foreign languages to people with learning disabilities;
• the development and piloting of the TuDOrs Online Training Program to reinforce knowledge, skills and competences of foreign language teachers in teaching people with learning disabilities;
• the design and testing of the Self-evaluation Tool to enable foreign language teachers to self-assess their skills in teaching people with learning disabilities.
